Erzulie’s Vodou Exhibition at Übersee-Museum Bremen, Germany

🤍 Practitioner-Led Cultural Preservation in Haitian Vodou

Erzulie’s Voodoo New Orleans was honored to curate a sacred Vodou installation for the Übersee-Museum in Bremen, Germany, launching the international exhibition “Vodou: A Way of Life.” This practitioner-led collaboration showcased our handcrafted Voodoo dolls, ritual spell kits, spiritual perfumes, soaps, and ceremonial tools—each created by initiated Vodou priests and priestesses to preserve the beauty, depth, and authenticity of Haitian Vodou.

🤍 Global Recognition of Erzulie’s Voodoo Across European Museums

From October 2011 to April 2015, our sacred wares traveled across Europe as part of this prestigious museum exhibition, rotating through major institutions in London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, and beyond. Thousands of visitors experienced the spiritual artistry and ceremonial power of authentic Vodou, affirming Erzulie’s role as a cultural steward and spiritual educator in the global Vodou community.

🤍 Supporting Vodou Museums and Cultural Archives

After the exhibition closed, the Übersee-Museum held a silent auction to raise funds for a permanent Vodou museum in Haiti. Erzulie’s proudly donated all ritual items to support this initiative, reinforcing our commitment to cultural preservation, ancestral reverence, and legacy-building.
