This photo was taken on a gorgeous spring day in April at Ms. Brandi Kelly's (owner and practitioner or Voodoo Authentica of New Orleans) brand new home!!!!

Myself, Houngan Shane, Hougan Lance & Dr. Ina all went to celebrate such a wonderful achievement for Brandi and decided to spend all day lounging on her beautiful porch, sipping daiquiris and laughing with Mama Lola.

Mama Lola is simply lovely!!! She's one of the most world-renowned and devoted Vodou practitioners. Her endless time, patience and exceptional knowledge of the Haitian Vodou Tradition is incomparable and her concern and genuine friendship is an honor.

I title this shot "The Million Dollar Photo" as she looks like a Million Dollars sitting there with her drink in hand! We hope you can get a true feel of her energy and spirit in this photo as well.
